We’re always here for you

Anonymous asked: ...but considering loads of teenagers today say stuff like "OMG I'm so OCD hahahaha" because they like to order their books correctly or clean their rooms occasionally I'm scarred people will just think I'm attention seeking, especially because I haven't seen anybody who knows about the condition and it hasn't been diagnosed officially or anything, and I know that if I asked my parents for advice they'd think I was being absolutely ridiculous. I don't really know what to do from here so....

Sorry for the late reply! Tumblr rarely notifies me of messages on here for some reason! My advice would be to go to your doctor yourself and explain what is going on. I had the same worries as you when I was diagnosed with depression. I kind of felt like it was almost a fashion to be depressed, and I didn’t want my worry to be shrugged off as that. I promise you that your doctor will be awesome about it and give you the correct examination and a correct diagnosis, and will help you deal with your problem. If needed, take a friend with you for moral support. x

Anonymous asked: I think I might have OCD. I have to do loads of things like doing things in sets of fours, like if I brush past a table I have to go back and touch it another 3 times, I blink in fours looking at certain locations, I delete whole sentences and messages if I mistype something, I have to go back the same route I went (this extends even to using the computer, so my mouse will go back and forth the same route when clicking a button, sorry I'm awful at describing things...) and there's loads....

See next post. Postin’ so the whole message can be read :)
